I don't mind handling hay as part of horse ownership but since we are hoping this is hay that works for the mini's and not hay for my own horses that I can actually ride once in a while it sucks.
I don't want to shove on dad to sell them, connection to mom and he has this vague notion that he'll fix up the old buggy with a 3 horse hitch set-up and drive them. I honestly don't see him ginning up the ambition to actually ever do that, but having the thought is probably good for his mental health. So I need to get over resenting them and just keep on the track I've been on of shifting care of them to him.
