They were out in force working on their water? pipeline project today, so I got off and led Sadie around the corner but she was pretty good to get fairly close w/o acting goofy. I could feel she was a bit nervous so I dismounted before she got goofy rather than waiting until she was actively trying to resist going any closer.
Had a good 2.5 miles of trot and canter, 2 of that in the summer fallow field in 12 minutes. She has a nice fast walk so even though we walked extra going out and heading back and I got off coming and going at the corner where the machinery was pretty close it was only just over an hour of riding. I am so pleased with how well she is doing. So frustrated that I can't seem to get anyone who wants to meet and ride with me, and kind of kicking myself for not getting in gear and being at this level early this spring and trying to connect with a training partner or two before they were all in full ride season mode.
But oh well, cant go back in time and there should be several years to do endurance on Sadie in the future.
